AIMA renews partnership with NCI

Zara Mends - NCI NZ

Real Cover, Real Savings, For Members.

AIMA is pleased to confirm the renewal of our partnership with National Credit Insurance (NCI), New Zealand and Australia's largest specialist trade credit insurance broker. The extended alliance means AIMA members continue to get exclusive access to a tailored trade credit insurance programme, built specifically for the realities of running an independent agency.

If a client can't pay, NCI makes sure you still do. As part of the AIMA member benefit, you get access to a competitive, purpose-built programme negotiated with a global insurer — a level of cover most agencies couldn't secure on their own. That means protection for your cash flow, your margins, and the money you've already outlaid to suppliers, well before your clients settle their invoices.

Beyond the safety net, NCI's programme gives members a genuine growth lever. Insured receivables can be used to unlock better funding terms from your bank, and having a "third eye" on client risk means you can say yes to bigger opportunities and negotiate from a position of strength, without carrying the exposure alone.

AIMA CEO Simon Teagle says the partnership gives members a genuine circuit breaker: the confidence to keep winning bigger business, knowing there's real protection behind them if something goes wrong.

We're also delighted to confirm NCI as a significant sponsor of AIMA Converge 2026 for another year. Their continued support helps us deliver a bigger, better event for members and partners alike — and reflects NCI's ongoing commitment to the independent agency sector.

If you'd like to find out more about the NCI programme and what it could mean for your agency, get in touch with your AIMA representative or reach out directly to Zara Mends, Managing Director NZ, NCI.
